🌟 HALF-YEAR 2025 IMPACT REPORT
Dear Stakeholder,
Can you believe we’re halfway through 2025 already? The months have flown by—but not without leaving a powerful trail of impact. As the needs in our communities continued to grow in unexpected ways, so did our innovation, passion, and determination to meet them.
This journey is powered by you—whether you're a donor, volunteer, partner, or advocate. We’re grateful for your support in building thriving, self-reliant communities. Together, we’re making a difference. 💛
🌍 Reaching Over 2,500 Lives (So Far!)
In just six months, our interventions have reached over 2,500 direct and indirect beneficiaries through:
Community workshops
School-based sensitizations
Mentorship programs for women-led businesses
One of our proudest milestones so far: the launch of our flagship Money-Wise Project, focused on early financial literacy for children in low-income communities. Let’s dive into the highlights!
🚀 Program Highlights
📚 Trainings & Workshops
We equipped women and young people with essential financial literacy skills:
In Q2, 153 women, 1,509 girls, and 510 boys participated in workshops.
Over 90% of participants (including boys!) reported learning new, useful concepts.
Cumulatively, we’ve reached 553 women, 1,595 girls, and 510 boys this year. Yay!
💡 New Project Launch: Money-Wise Girls (MWG)
Launched in May, the MWG project quickly reached 2,019 girls and boys across communities—despite being primarily targeted at girls!
Fun twist: Boys not only joined the sessions but brought fresh perspectives, using relatable street slang like achalugo and odogwu to enrich conversations about financial independence and relationships.
Our goal? To empower girls to make sound financial decisions early in life and reduce future dependence on others. Through games, role-play, and open discussions, we’re teaching them how money confidence shapes futures.
🤝 Strengthening Community Roots
Our footprint continues to grow through strategic partnerships and community engagement. Between April and June 2025, we:
Formed 4 new NGO partnerships
Partnered with 8 public secondary schools
Engaged with the Office of the Local Inspector for Education (L.I.E), Akinyele LGA, Oyo State
We’re building bridges that promise even greater impact in the future.
🌟 Partner Spotlight
In Q2, we worked hand-in-hand with inspiring organizations, including:
MAYEIN (Mentoring Assistance for Youths and Entrepreneurs Initiative)
Dream 21
Advocacy for Children’s Rights Initiative
Thanks to the support of these groups and key stakeholders like the Oyo State Ministry of Education and Local Inspector of Education, Akinyele LGA, we reached students in:
Community Secondary School Sango
Community Secondary School Samonda
Bashorun Ojoo Secondary School
Methodist Grammar School
Bishop Onabanjo High School
Samuel Adegbite Memorial Grammar School
Onireke High School
Ojoo High School
🤝No One Behind (NOB) Foundation:
In June, we proudly joined forces with No One Behind Foundation and Tech Herfrica to support NOB Foundation’s launch of the Warrior Moms Business Project in Abaji LGA, FCT. The empowerment program is dedicated to mothers of children living with sickle cell disorder. 35 women were equipped with hands-on training in:
Business skills
Digital tools for entrepreneurship
Financial literacy
Basic record keeping
NOB Foundation made a commitment to provide micro-grants to promising women from this program. We are excited to see the impact.
🧠 Building Our Capacity
Because empowered teams create empowered communities, we invested in our people:
Monthly volunteer capacity-building workshops
In-house staff training sessions
Representation at the Nigerian Localisation Research Conference by NNNGO, where we connected with other changemakers in the nonprofit space
🗺️ Our Reach So Far: 4 States
We made significant strides in Oyo, Osun, Abuja, and Gombe (our newest territory!). In Oyo State alone, we are expanding the reach of our women’s support clusters and financial literacy club in public secondary schools.
💼 Business Support for Women: 31 Grants and Micro-Loans Awarded!
Yes, 31 women received grants or micro-loans this quarter—a huge leap from last quarter! These funds are helping women-owned businesses grow, especially those led by widows and women in underserved communities.
We’re proud to continue this work thanks to your generosity.
